Punjab
Telecom Circle is currently providing telecommunication services with all modern
telecom facilities & excellent network in the entire Punjab State,
Chandigarh & Panchkula (in Haryana) covering a geographical area of
50,362 Sq. kms. There is a rapid improvement in the services both in
urban & rural areas. All villages of Punjab Telecom Circle have been
provided Village Public Telephone (VPT) connection.
A
lot of emphasis is being given on greater customer satisfaction. IVRS for fault
booking, Changed number, Bill enquiry and Payment reminder have been introduced.
Implementation of computerized integrated package DOTSOFT, Opening of large
number of Customer Service Centers & Public Grievance Cell are few steps
taken in this direction.
Various
new services like ISDN, IN, DIAS, VPN have already been launched in the Punjab
Telecom Circle. Internet connections are available on demand in whole of Punjab
Telecom Circle and are provided at the very competitive rates.
